people who think they are schooling fat guys by saying "calories in calories out"

are 50 iq

how many people in the world are fat because they ... don't know they should eat less/better food and/or burn more calories? pretty sure the number is smaller than 1%

and how many are fat because they are struggling with controlling their appetite, meaning their problem is at least partially mental/psychological? everyone else

won't even address the wisdom from the title being pretty wrong and way oversimplified

do some research, it's not that simple

either way, the thread is not about that, but about people failing to notice the problem here is 95% about self-control, so mental, and 5% about some biological concepts that are beyond the grasp for the average "just inject T, bro" internet imbecile.

everyone who has ever been dealing with this fucking knows it's (mostly) about eating less, yet users keep giving that advice from an imaginary high ground like fat people decided to just eat to much because they are masochists

Losing weight is extremely damaging. All humans gain weight throughout their lives. Losing weight means that you are sick/dying. Losing weight is never worth it.

the issue i am aware of is that the byproduct of any treatment for weight disorders is unnecessary cellular damage

so, any compulsive behavior (including compulsive eating) is improperly synchronized signals in certain areas of the brain. a wreck, unbalanced feedback. so overeating can definitely be treated, but what type of medication does it other than nicotine i am not sure (which isn't safe either)

going back to nicotine. certain nicotinic receptors target sites where the feeling of satiety is produced, through replacing binding of it the appetite is suppressed

other targeted sites are responsible for producing physiological response to bodily motion. this can function well in aiding for weight loss by placing false demands of unnecessary energy load, overstraining the body which causes the subject to start losing weight at rest. but then again, cellular damage is a real issue
