the coolness of being a lawyer is overhyped. there are tons of them and they have (rightfully so) the reputation of being immoral cockroaches. saying you are a lawyer in any larger city won't impress anyone if you aren't a borderline celeb in the branch

on the other side, there are much less judges and it's a more dom position (you are literally in power), so it's more elite. i can't even imagine the mental and genital breakdown angels would have if they asked me what i do for a living and i told them i was a legit judge

no, for 2 reasons:
1. that's npc behavior of people in power
2. i'm a multimillionaire

also, corruption on that level doesn't work that way anyway. it's not about giving already rich people an x amount of money to rule in your favor, but about returning old services/concessions
