Today I cooked an exceptional pasta al pomodoro
Not using the standard method, though

3 different types of tomatoes, I added the butter and mixed it into the pasta first (the word is “mantecare”), then added the tomato sauce, basil, olive oil and Parmesan cheese

Butter is an excellent flavour carrier
