some agents in suit said "by downloading this video we now have your IP and it has been sent to authorities of your location automatically."

basically you are fucked kinda shit.

I don't know what they are supposed to be, scare people from downloading such content? actually legit? it didn't work because i live in Iran? no clue, month has passed and nothing happened.

never forget bois, downloading things from internet IS and never will be a crime no matter what.

im not sure but depends how u did it i think. also they may not have ur ip but may have ur hardware id instead
pretty sure there are tools u can use to download with encryption but i dont use it so idk the name. u could surf a day on darkweb and find it. its some sharing software middleman thing

Posing as authorities is an ancient phishing technique.

Back in the 2000s when clearnet was new and not safe at all I would get these pop-ups/redirects all the time.

The first time I got it I got freaked out and pulled the plug from the PC. A schoolmate I was discussing this with told me his dad did the same.

OP lives in Iran, fbi has no jurisdiction there and iran doesnt cooperate with fbi
