there was this thread of MVP that conducted me to a similar question. it wasn't about the Nukes in specific, only of why nobody has tried total annihilation for the lulz? it really leads to one of those thought loops where you may think that it has been tried and there have been bigger disasters and that there's backup timed for such events. not sure tbh, the Nuke one is too schizo because then you have to ignore Hiroshima and Nagasaki and abnormal radiation screened in certain locations from several Nuclear testings

What surprises me is how there hasn't been one rogue Islamic terrorist group that got their hands on nuclear material. Supposedly you can make a nuclear reactor with smoke detectors, yet none of these groups have managed to build a dirty nuke out of the nuclear material?

Perhaps nuclear weapons are indeed fake. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were supposedly firebombed with a precursor to napalm. That would explain the burn victims, the genetic mutations in the children born after WW2 and why it rebuilt so quickly.
