media has always painted them as people you can have deep eye opening conversations with but in reality theyre the most basic npcs you could meet. sadly the western us is filled with them. maybe in the 60s these types were actually interesting when that movement was novel, pure and anti system. i think theyre mostly ltr people too they dont seem easy despite the old free love slogan
