I'm reading the sixth Harry Potter book. I know it may seem weird, but I just read Harry Potter because it's something I left when I was a child and wanted to get back.

cool. the philosopher's stone is one of the first books without pictures I ever read. never got to read the rest of harry potter books, unfortunately. have you considered reading occult books, like aleister crowley? they're about magic, but IRL.

Oh that's quite interesting. All five Harry Potter books I've read didn't have pictures. When I was a kid I started reading the philosopher's stone, but couldn't finish it so this is why I got that back this time.

Nope, I've never heard of them nor aleister crowley, although anyway I don't really like fiction very much so I wouldn't be very interested in it. I mostly read HP as I kind of consider it a "duty" as I started it as a kid and couldn't finish it.

I don't like reading too much; it INCREASES SEROTONIN which makes you more metabolically compromised over-time.

HUMANS IN NATURE/THE OLD DAYS NEVER READ MUCH. Only in modern times do WE READ SHIT ON BLUE SCREENS!

aleister crowley books talk about magic rituals,  meditation methods and such.

I didn't know about that. but good point about people reading on blue screens most of the time. this is especially bad at night, since it can affect quality of sleep.

Interesting, thank you, it could be cool to read her I'd say. Given how the topic has been stated, do you read a lot on bluescreens though? I read everything non-fiction I like on my computer or phone as there aren't books about topics which I like where I live, and also it's likely that computers and phones are replacing books.

yeah mostly electronic files on an app on my phone. I try to get the light as dim as possible and all but would read those books in physical form if I could. nowadays you can find just about any book on amazon, but that would get very expensive

what non-fiction stuff do u read?

That's quite interesting, you could say phones and computers are replacing electronic books to some extent as well as you can read in those documents.

I mostly read stuff related to history and genetics, like papers (scientific studies) about indo european genetics and expansion, history about european countries and other such things.

Junky by Burroughs. Was decent. Probably close to what would happen if a lot of the posters here had wealthy parents and a large trust-fund... idk
