My grandfather, father on mothers side fought franco in spannish war - dwohhgang - 16-04-2022
apperently my grandfather on my mothers side was a communist who fought in the spannish civil wart and when he went home to sweden he was folloewd by spannish spies and had a bunch of guns in his house he also was shot at some point, his friend died of a mine infront of him

my grandmother's father got killed by communists in civil war. He wasn't soldier he was a villager in some very mountainous region where communists were hiding and got ambushed and shot together with some other guys. They were some sort of self defense militia I think but gov. gave my grandmother's family some compensation land but her siblings took it all my family got nothing.
