why does the body heal physical wounds not mental - alice in hell - 20-06-2026
all physical wounds heal automatically and well for the organism to go back to baseline but the mental wounds just stay there
u would think the body has a map for peak mental health like it does for physical coherence but i think it just naturally stuffs all the bad stuff deep inside bc everyone is constantly in a sad state so it never has time to heal
like with physical wounds usually u don’t stay in a risky place for long but the mental wounds are incessant and inescapable

Mental anguish is supposed to serve as a tool, but this isn't really the case in the 21st century
