but i mean how would the course of history be altered if you died today
even in the scheme of your city, this century, let alone the span of human existence, the existence of the universe
if you think about it, it's really ridiculous how huge our ego's are for how much our lives don't matter.
i mean, the pain people will inflict on other people for the sake of their ego's makes me think we should really all go extinct.
i find it hard to believe this species matters at all, of course my views have been formed by my bias of being an abused dog. but still

It does not, literally anything that you think is meaningful, deep or holds some sort of importance on such a grand scale is literally just a result of our monkey brains monkey braining
Outside of your consciousness, nothing has any hierarchy over anything else. The lives and thoughts of Gauss, Ritchie, Descartes etc are as important as the ones you have, which is zilch. There is no special ethos to any concept that exists unless you assign it so
It does not matter one bit but since you are blessed with the ability feel in such a way, you should try eradicate this loser mindset. Imagine being sentient and not deluding yourself into thinking you are some important generational human being lol
