Intercourse = risk of pregnancy
Pregnancy = pain, stress
Now, the lower value the man, the more downsides.
If you are highly neurotic and not very high value as a woman, you would therefore rather avoid intercourse and maybe delude yourself that some day the right guy will come, etc...
If you are also high sex drive and low in disgust, you might become a prostitute, a lesbian or a serial abortionist.
If you have the true female brain as a woman, you'll want to get pregnant and married at all costs.
