That was way back in high school. There was a guy in my class with whom I used to hang out and went to his place to play video games. He was very frugal, even wore the same set of clothes, didn't like to shower much just as @MVP.
His father had a successful business and his mom was a teacher. They were very strict with him financially, made him to save money etc. They owned a café called Richie Rich and I am not even kidding. He always insisted that he should grind more and later even worked for 12 hours every day just to get more money.
