same. except mine isn't a "sadistic junkie pedophile alcoholic" and is always well-inteded and tried to be a good father through all of his life. and i would be devastated if something bad happened to him. it's just that he's probably the dumbest and the lamest, the most beta person i've ever known. i reckon he's absolutely on the spectrum too and probably that's where i got my 'tism from.
having a beta dad is a genuine mentalcel trait.

as long as someone isn't toxic they're fine by my book
my dad is an abusive paranoid egotistical beta. having a dad who is mellow and level headed is ideal, beta/alpha social dynamics shouldn't even apply in the 21st century. we're still so unevolved for the level of technology we possess
