Was Goethe ugly? - Dreckssau - 25-04-2026
Big eyes with upper eyelid exposure, big forehead, big nose, smaller lower third. Yet people never seem to describe him as ugly, and his portraits give very different impressions. Is he haloed by status?

My guess is that Goethe was on the ugly side, but because of his mystical god-like status, no one dares to say it.

most philosophers were and would be incel as fuck. This why I think modern incelism is probably on the right track. You need to be ugly to have the correct insight. Same reason why depressed people have more rational view of reality because delusions like hope are removed from equation. It is extremely rare that you have an example like me who is good looking and fit who also happens to be brilliant with incel tier blackpilled thinking. Im one of few who believes all this because it's true not because it's self serving.
