My father used to get rly angry when he caught me watching it, he mentioned multiple times how "granda's deck" that yugi is always referencing in the first season is a very stupid concept.

Like those suspence scenes when yugi is about to get fucked and he is seeing visions of his granda and says "I have faith in my grandpa's deck" and then goes to break before you can see what he pulled. I mean I get it, it's pretty dumb.
