how bad is it? I thought NZ would have quality social services.
There are news from time to time here about ward staff beating patients or letting them naked to shit on the ground etc. But that's mostly private clinics.

didn't even have a bed, the mattress was broken and they knew/didn't care
all mental hospitals are gonna be somewhat similar due to the nature of how society views "mental patients" but a lot of the shit they do is just inexcusable
