They get a bad rep because of try hard phgts in skinny suits and designer fashion brands. And slobs normalizing wearing pajamas everywhere.
But you can simply buy the blazer from thrift stores and wear normal trousers, you don't need a tailor or a custom, "fitted suit"
I'm impoverished but I wear a suit everywhere I go. I look like I make about 10k a year but in actuality I make 2k a year
I suspect the move away from suits coincided with a mental decay in the populace. Heavy metals, micro plastics, phytoestrogens etc from rapid industrialization.

Suits might be a new luxury item for the burgeoning vagrant/nomad/bum class of society.
While workcels are tired of suits and uniforms, people like me know have nothing better to do can spend all the time wearing suits and uniforms and wrapping ourselves in the finest cashmere and donkey wool.
What does this mean? Only those with the most leisure time can wear suits. We don't have to work or labor we can wear white suits for weeks without dirtying them. Meanwhile workcels have to start wearing rags to reduce cleaning cost and sleep in their work pajamas to save time commuting.

Im big enough that it's a deterrent to any potential trouble makers plus I always carry a gun or mace
My fighting style also doesn't require a lot of agility. I use Paul vunak's straight blast system

Suits in summer, so much sweat. I can't imagine wearing a suit everyone, like a stuck up lawyer. We could all walk around in doctor's coats and women in scrubs. This would help create a high trust society.
