Cause it's usually a delusion to say you are 'rejected by society'. Because most of society is supposed to be indifferent about you, as you are indifferent about most of society.
The only people who are supposed to not be indifferent are your parents. Their job is to prepare you adequately for a world, that is largely indifferent towards you. Their love and care should fill the void and give you enough strength to survive on your own and overcome all sorts of obstacles.
