5:15 - 17:55 of maximum intellectual effort

sometimes you just get cases/clients that appeal to you more than all the ass on the street in a college city combined

it would feel like being a bottom tier clerk in comparison, it's just that people are envious of lawyers because they don't realize how much work (starting from graduating and passing the bar exam) and 24/7 engagement it takes to actually earn that muh big money.

there is a common misconception that judges are some high iq monsters - they are not. in fact, most of them (even on the highest instances) are borderline fucking dumb. for the most part, judiciary is weaponized bureaucracy
