Always live in the present - Honest - 19-06-2022 Don't think about the future or the past. Avoid things that force you to worry about future, like getting a job or being in education ("Oh no, I have to go back to work tomorrow" - "Oh no, I have exams next month" etc.) If you feel like you are beginning to be dragged out of the present, re-ground yourself with a mantra. Only think of the near-future and near-past: "where did I put my car keys?" or "where will I travel to today?" Worrying about things in the far-future or far-past does not improve your standing in the present. Ignore anything that you do not wish to do. A lot of things are very overrated in society, because people want to scam you into worrying about nonsensical things. But survival is truly very easy. No one is at risk of starving to death anymore. The only times I've felt depressed/stressed is when I'm in periods where I'm forced into worrying about the future. The pain that these rare moments have caused me is enough for me to realise the importance of remaining in the present at all times. I feel good 24/7 as long as I remain in the present.

I've started thinking like this just a few days ago. For example, when my mum tells me that I need to get a job, I try to ignore it and not allow my mood to be ruined. I said the mantra "stay happy" (or something like that, I can't remember) in my head a couple times but haven't made a habit of it RE: Always live in the present - Busty Doll - 28-02-2025 If we live in a simulation, all your problems are a joke. Imagine someone came to you crying because "he committed a serious felony," but it actually happened in GTA. Your issues could be of the same caliber |
