it is better supported and has more advanced features than mybb
the only reason this forum uses mybb and not something else is for legacy purpose

when coordinate switched the forum from mybb to xenforo it felt as if a piece of what made the forum special had died

u don't know but phpbb is co-installed (so uploaded) in this very website's 🕸 server
we ran a few tests...
as to why this site is so buggy the answer it's obvious
