I'm tired of the idol worship in Christianity - Dreckssau - 28-01-2026
I think Christianity has a tremendous history, but declaring a man God and giving him a uniquely elevated status among humans seems ridiculous.
I look at the story and think: "If he declared himself God, why can't I?".
In that regard, I agree with Islam. I want an overwhelming, large God, who is bigger than everything, never reduced to manform.
In catholicism, one human is elevated to God and a bunch of others are elevated to "almost God" like the pope and the saints..

Jesus will answer: "Of course not."

I think Jesus had an elevated ego. Maybe he thought of himself as uniquely close to God and at times identical to God, and certainly the idea of him as "humble" is a bit ridiculous.

Well, the problem with the churches lies elsewhere. They cuck to every modernist ideology. They react to the problems in the worst ways.
But because of the lack of Christianity in the actual churches, many laypeople now overcompensate. That's how you get the papists, tradcaths, the evangelical fanatic. They are two sides of the same coin.
