i mean i'm not like those r/exmuslim impressionable soy retards who hate their own culture or whatever. i'm an agnostic and don't resent my culture. but it's holidays are so boring and utterly banal compared to the other cultures it's honestly insane tbh
on the christian camp you have:
-christmas, which is like the godfather of all holidays on earth. almost magical and otherworldly enviroment etc do i need to spell it out
-halloween, not really christian but really cool nevertheless
-thanksgiving, same as the halloween and cozy atmosphere tbh
-easter, you paint eggs nigga, man how cool is that
meanwhile on the islamic camp you have like two holidays tops. if you exclude the day of ashura which is just about eating some disgusting slop made out of wheat and nuts, and mawlid
ramadan: where you have to starve yourself for a month and visit some relatives out of town, kiss the hands of 90 yr old smelly grannies etc
qurban: you do the above but with the extra steps of sheep and cattle getting slaughtered on the streets, blood piss and manure everywhere, the smell destroying your nose. best part about it is eating some overcooked meat whose muscles are still twitching
