Why cardarine is the best for fat loss when below 20% bodyfat - Shrekcel - 01-12-2025 Once you get to a low enough bodyfat percentage you hit a ceiling in fat mobilisation rate. This is around 31kcal/lb of fat/day. Restricting calories further using glp’s or increasing bmr with dnp will not do you any favours at this point. Once you hit the limit for fat mobilisation and you have no liver glycogen remaining your body is guaranteed to burn lean tissue. This is why cardarine comes in. It is a drug that should theoretically increase the fat mobilisation rate allowing you to run aggressive calorie deficits at low body fat percentage. Additionally cardarine increases the body’s preference to use fat instead of carbohydrates as energy. This results in having fuller glycogen stores while in a deficit allowing one to train harder and thus increase muscle anabolism by providing greater stimulus. The only problem is this effect has never been studied in humans only in rats so it may not be as potent in humans. Neverthless cardarine is cheap to source and it may help preserve more muscle in general even if you arent running an aggressive deficit. |
