ita cute to listen to boomer music - friedrich_neet - 01-12-2025

be family parties or people nearby
theyve a collective point of nostalgic music
nowadays i think its nearly impossible to do so
i barely hear the 10s classics either its always smth entirely new
meaning in 10 years there wont be much coherence in nostalgia when it comes to music

This is the kind of music my legit boomer father used to blast on the speakers at 11 pm when I was a kid. I'm not even joking.

Both mom and dad have 0 music taste, I think because media technology didn't exist back then you'd have to be into music a lot to grow a taste, spend all your day at the disc club and develop a refined music taste naturally.

i like her voice and songs and part of it is bc its an old mic and studio so its just different and pleasing to hear
by boomer music here im talking about 60-80s tbh - i mean when its gen x choosing songs i can predict the first 5 or at least most of whats going to be bc its always the same taste and cultural popularity regardless of the person (and the people that have done such songs are mostly boomers still)
