One advantage of being older, is that when you're 20 people may preach to you:

"How the hell do you intend to support yourself for the next 50 years!"

But if you are 40, suddenly they are forced to reduce that time frame (since they don't believe in immortality).
And by 40 you probably already have some savings. So they sound dumber: "Where do you intend to get a couple of tens of thousands, to last you another 29 years?"

And soon enough it will be: "You are 50, so where do you think you'll procure another 500 dollars to sustain yourself until 50.9 years old? Oh you already have $500 you say. Damn."

I had a mixed performance today.

My supposedly less risky account went down from 509 to now around 339 euros.

BUT, my 400:1 leveraged one went up to 701 euros. And I only funded it with 200 on Friday.

Today's share of that increase is 344.51, so minus the 170 lost, today I've made $200.
