there are two reasons to be a good person
1. You’re a high value person who has been treated well your entire life in a mostly high trust community that has these morals in place
2. You’ve had all resistance beaten out of you because you’re extremely low value

In my humble but not so humble opinion, I don't think being nice is something to boast about.
I would rather be honest, trustworthy, consistent, punctual, precise, respectful, responsible and blah blah than simply “nice”
