I love my family, they’ve been good to me and all, but seriously, I just don’t think I would really care if we “went to the same place” or not assuming an afterlife existed. I don’t know. I just don’t feel any kind of connection that would transcend lifetimes with them or anyone else on the planet really. Hell, if I could financially support myself, I probably wouldn’t even speak to my family unless they contacted me first.
