Yes, life will always be better with no drugs relative to your experience with never having tried them, but if you do try drugs, its kind of hard to make your normal life as fun as meth or coke (I do neither)

drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes 
just dont go anything beyond that, do not even do psychiatric drugs, because thats 100% permanent damage
