I struggle to connect with other people irl - kathisterima - 11-09-2025
I always act shy and timid and some people misread that for me showing no interest.
Truth is, idk what to say,,, I'm always cautious not to step over some line, and make it seem awkward.
The looks don't help, I really can't imagine myself acting loud and extroverted like most normies do.

people at work make banter with each other all the time
when I tried to crack a joke which felt appropriate, they ignored me completely
I felt like oops they didn't get it or thought I was being cringe, shut up from now on
then they are like why are you so distant, speak more!

they seem to penetrate into these dynamics with little to no struggle, theyre not calculating how it will be perceived and trying to weigh what the best outcome will be or whether its the right time by analyzing micro-facial expressions.
theyre just going with the flow

Ig its like football,spur of the moment you have to act on instinct not be overly calculative. Zidane does roulettes based on instinct while some b league player does it so it looks good on a youtube edit. Be like Zidane.

Ialways make offensive jokes and mess with people to break the ice, it feels natural tbh. 2 days later we're suddenly like close friends due to this I think
Im starting to think I was always hyper NT but kept quiet all this time due to abuse. Now that I don't give a fuck after years of seclusion and isolation I just act how I feel. Not allat interested in ppl pleasing anymore
