i wished lived in a homogeneous and social place - machinelves - 05-09-2025

imagine having roots somewhere and sharing the same culture with your own little enclave. it would be so amazing so socialize and make friends. no added pressures from outside. with no intrusive media culture being imposed. you can organically create your own fashions, music, food, etc. this is how most of humans have lived until the past hmmm 20 years or so? i cant even socialize with people my age without being privy to the current tiktok trends and media hot topics.

you could walk to the pub and meet new people or make friends. good riddance to living in an atomized suburb where everyone keeps to themselves. its chill and good for introverts but its unbalanced when you consider theres no places to socialize or meet people your age.

you wouldnt wish this if you were content with yourself already. you seek something from others which they dont have in hopes it will fix you

no they dont plenty of people live in near isolation in cities and are fine with it. take mvp for example hes too retarded to even realize .its because he is not only not a person, but hes not human either so he has no capacity to yearn for connection. on the other end of the spectrum are self grounded chads just living out they life doing what they please in the city

that perfectly describes the majority of poor areas worldwide. in my experience, the reality is that most of these people will be insufferable low-class scumbags who pride themselves on being stupid and violent, and love gossip and feuds, and the local area gets controlled by a top family of gangsters

but dropping out of school at 16 to work with your relatives in a drain-cleaning business, knowing the name of every person on your street, and marrying a girl you've known since you were born is still probably a better life than the typically alienated middle-class one...

joking aside, i think about this quite a lot. youre really badly screwed if you dont grow up with a large, tight-knit family/community... youve missed out on something vital that pretty much every human has had before you

and then people think you can make up for this by 'socialising' with randomers as an adult

yeah exactly

its just extremely unnatural and one can only speculate what the effects this will have later in life and throughout multiple generations. the average zoomers behavior is influenced more by what he sees on tiktok rather than conditioning from family/culture/etc. its just not right to be living in a fishbowl like this
