My lifestyle comes at a cost tbh. I have to deal with my parent's inane shit and take drugs. Perhaps op also has to do things to stay in the shelter that he does not want too, idk. It's not worth it sometimes to live with others, even if there are perks.

I tried neeting with my parents maxxing and I find it intolerable to live under the rule of someone else. I need financial independence at least so that I can rot in peace. It's like moving off square 1 into square 2 tbh.
