Did the world end in 2019? - TallGlassofMilk - 07-06-2022 Honestly think about it for a second. I was in HS then and honestly life was somewhat the same AND I LOOKED LIKE COMPETE SHIT then, yet I have a such nostalgic feeling towards that year. I’ll NEVER feel nostalgic about 2020-2022, no chance. Was it my youth, or the ending of it? I can also say that classmates had a much different aura that no one has now. Very weird RE: Did the world end in 2019? - prince of shitskins - 07-06-2022 you're just feeling the melancholy of being an adult whose not hitting his milestones on time it's a really complicated issue that's becoming more common, an issue so many variables that i don't even dare to speak on it but it happens at least we have alcohol, i guess RE: Did the world end in 2019? - TallGlassofMilk - 07-06-2022 (07-06-2022, 08:30 AM)Mikis Theodorakis Wrote: you're just feeling the melancholy of being an adult whose not hitting his milestones on time Beyond brutal I suspected it was all in my head Damn. For me I guess, the 2010s my life was always changeable, now in the 20s it feels over already RE: Did the world end in 2019? - TallGlassofMilk - 07-06-2022 Did you go thru something similar leaving HS, some mental block where you felt permanently 16 in a way? RE: Did the world end in 2019? - prince of shitskins - 07-06-2022 kinda i know the feeling you're talking about, but in our cases i wouldn't classify it as our brains not maturing enough it's just the way the cookie has crumbled, tbh also, it's never too late do something before you end up like me, tbh RE: Did the world end in 2019? - villager - 07-06-2022 not, but something did happen in 2012, it's only snowballing guess, i hope i am wrong, but it seems things are getting weirder RE: Did the world end in 2019? - Blau - 07-06-2022 Time has been going fast ever since 2020 happened. I would had maybe gotten a girlfriend BUT NOOOO lock downs happened. sigh maybe high school will be better RE: Did the world end in 2019? - noi_avorrit - 07-06-2022 Yeah dude, you just described what I feel, with obviously the difference being that I couldn't express it very well. I also have this feeling as if "life" ended in 2019 (as I ended school that year) and since the beginning of the plandemic everything is faster and as you said it's not being nostalgic at all. My most nostalgic years are before 2012 (Dunno what happened that year that made the next less nostalgic). The next ones are less nostalgic but still somewhat unlike post 2020. I started college in 2020, but as I have an inability to concentrate and my laziness became even worse with the lockdowns I "informally" dropped out of it and I'm unfortunately ldaring right now (even though I hate being in this state right now). How I feel kind of coincides with what you said about not hitting adult milestones while still being an adult. |
