it isnt that we are awfully conscious of this one life
it is that theres a distinction between memory and experience
when you are asleep and dreaming you are pretty much in another realm altogether and theres no hint or anything that connects you to this world and your persona or being that is in this world, we only know that this is the real world and that our persona isnt entirely constructed because of causality

the entire time that you were asleep you were still dreaming, there are many hours to that sleeping timecount. realizing that you are asleep and waking up just after is merely a fraction of that. my point is abstract; someone that has their memory swapped for another doesnt become the other person or whatever that was the source of that memory, they remain the same being. someone that has their entire memory cut from that point in time till the entire past, doesnt mean that this person never existed and never experienced anything, it just means that theres no memory of it.

it does because its a matter of experience and memory, i have no idea what i was doing when i was 5 or something, doesnt mean that i did not exist or that i spawned today. when dreaming theres nothing in the dream telling me that i am a person in the bed in the state known as dreaming, i am just there pretty much tripping and theres no idea of me or i. thats about it.
