the father of that story is a massive cuck

the part that pisses me off the most is the kids return to their father and its a happy ending when they should have put him too in some oven along with his hag new wife.

here hansel (diminutive of johannes) is joao, which makes sense. gretel (margaret) however is maria and it shouldve been ''margarida'' instead were it to be the proper portuguese given variation of it

it can pretty much be interpreted as two germanic kids being misled into a destructive vice by a jewess witch, in the case a symbolic shepherd raising the sheeple for their slaughter by coordinating their fall. all after they've been betrayed by their foreigner ''mom'' whos not blood related to them. they grow weary to notice they were tricked and holocaust the jewess witch. she drops jewery and gold as lootbox they use to return to their family (which is their sorry excuse of a father, after all.) - its crazy how such old european folklore can talk about so many relevant things to todays world all at once
