Dune had some great scenes - RetrudedMaxilla - 11-04-2022

everything about this scene is spot on

it's just unfortunate the movie still had potential to be better, hopefully the second one is as good

RE: Dune had some great scenes - Achathin - 11-04-2022

man i really wanted to watch that because of all the plebbit hype. but even that scene looks like a boring slog of a movie

RE: Dune had some great scenes - Altruist - 14-04-2022

good visuals, plot and action scenes on par with seagal's movies, just with the fantasy element involved

expected more

it's extremely cheesy but that comes with the territory

visuals carry it hard

it made more sense/got better after  consecutive watches, the first time i tried watching it was like trying to interpret some schizo fever dream

RE: Dune had some great scenes - progeny - 14-04-2022

these visuals/design are auraless and uninspired. some of this casting seems retarded

i thought that nig nailed the scene he was in. has a very evil/malicious aura which was what they intended

the movie had some problems, but that nigger definitely wasn't one of them

can easily be explained away by him taking spice or something

he also has an extremely high pedigree look to him. this was deliberate

only casting i wasn't particularly fond of was zendaya, they should've cast someone way less masculine looking

new dune compared to 1984 dune (same character)

both movies aren't shit just overrated, can't believe people are claiming it as a masterpiece or even the best movie they have seen

probably because of capeshit fatigue and this is the first time they are exposed to something "artsy"

dawg come on, they are shit, barring timothy and the villain guy everyone was overracting in the first movie. it gets worse when after all the mess of a screenplay they had, they had the nerve to end it on a high note as if they achieved something out of the ordinary.

denis villeneuve has made 1 good movie and that is sicario

it's better, not perfect but good enough to justify seeing in theaters
