The blackpill was born out of a valid concern that pua coaches were scam-artists, and that looks played a much greater role than was claimed.
Ever wonder why early PSL was so good? It’s because it was filled with guys who took the best from redpill, and were observant enough to understand that looks were also an important factor.
The blackpill’s emphasis on looks soon became dogmatic, downplaying personality to the point where valuable redpill information was entirely lost.
However, reality soon came knocking (‘why do I often see ugly guys with above-average girls irl?’), and the blackpill community was forced to accept the concept of ‘nt’. But because of the blackpill’s dogmatic reductionistic genetic determinism, and because redpill information had been lost, the idea that a person could improve their ‘nt’ was seen as laughable.
After years of focusing on looksmaxing, guys eventually realised that this was just as much cope as purple-pilled pua. Even after surgeries costing tens of thousands of dollars, they were unable to ‘slay’.
This marked the culmination of the blackpill and the death of psl. Instead of effort-posting interesting theories, field reports, methods for improvement etc., blackpillers were now mindlessly spamming Shitty Advice. The valuable members left, more and more shitposters came in (NEET autists looking for a virtual home, or bored teenagers). Eventually, even basic looksmaxing knowledge was hard to come by. It's probably a good thing that admin pulled the plug when he did.

personality is just charisma tbh. people mistake personality for being heckin decent person just because the percieved ,,arch enemy'' of blackpill seems to describe it this way. especially modern inkwelosphere has very reddit standard for personality ngl
