I read around the old deprecated myBB docs
So every user upon registration = assigned user group ranking *common sense
user group ranking changes with post count *common sense
code in mybb that admin can change determines star count = apparently kath *should be able to change it
you and MVP are only ones in "PSL Megastar" user group ( 15k+ posts )
My theory :
Maybe initially there weren't enough user groups so Kath added some for 15k posts + and they just defaulted to one star
It's not a megastar, it's a neglected star
