the worst part is, most imbeciles posting these aren't even trying to make a meta joke, they are just so validation-deprived that they HAVE to see their name there, even if they post it themselves. the internet post equivalent of managing to raise your arm above the surface while drowning.
it's so insanely fucking sad that i've ever made the decision to register on not just an internet forum, but any website in general.
