how to avoid these excessive sidenotes in brackets? i know it makes my text unreadable, but i don't know what the alternative is. with academic papers, i can just insert footnotes, but doing that is really creepy for informal writing

simply put, my thread triggered you into trying to gloat over something that had nothing to do with the thread content itself. not really something i experience for the first time. no gifs can conceal that.
and he is absolutely not a new poster, we've been going back and forth for months now (even obvious from that interaction alone). just confirms what i wrote in the first half of this post.
