I do it when the existing rep count is indivisible by 10
But some people (Ruud) believe that repping 10 instead of 2 diminishes their rep power for the future

I used to do that when I was young (37)
I reasoned: "If I rep 10, my future rep potential drops by that much."
But the truth is, you get 6 reps a day and it's the same whether you use 1 or 10 points for each
