for those familiar with recent developments in my life, recommend movies - Altruist - 12-02-2025

to get myself charged for what's ahead of me

- good will hunting - watched it too many times

other movies i already have in mind for re-watching:
- a beautiful mind
- the imitation game

i'd be thankful for more suggestions. no music-related garbage.

If you like The Imitation Game then try The Theory of Everything

Also I know why that last part was added but beyond the jazz theme, Whiplash is an amazing film

have you seen it? i'm aware it exists, but, from the descriptions, i'm getting the feeling it's focused on hawking's private/love life, and that's absolutely not the reason anyone should give a flying fuck about hawking's existence

from what i remember, those weren't the type of movies i'm asking for itt (corny stories, biopics or not, about mind-blowing geniuses making other otherwise smart people look like townc ... insects)

and i did add 90% of what you recommended to my watchlist (which is a huge compliment because, as i said before, we aren't into similar genres). i only didn't watch most of them because i generally stopped being a tv-cuck and spending 7 hours per day binge-watching shows and movies some time ago. alleviated depression, i guess.

i did watch that one with emily blunt and it was pretty good

It is both that and his disability

It also low key glorifies him like a God

But S tier casting and cinematography
