I did have a rage against god as a young person. It's unhealthy. God loves you.

also why do people just accept god when theyre like 40 past their prime and they see death knocking on door while they were atheist in their 20s and 30s?

I would guess they're more likely to be religious. High religiosity among top-level athletes might give you an idea.

cos it gives them positve press. and also i never discounted religion being a positive force in some peoples lives. Which is why I dont equate chad w just top level athletes. Chad is beyond humanity.

Athletes get positive press from performing well in a competition. I don't think they need religion for that aspect.

Some events can make the change. Age comes with more challenges. The pope faced health challenges in his younger days and it's probably a big reason he's such a strong believer.
