windows and office programs used to list 10 before 2 until very recently, which would fuck up any "sort by name" function. you had to decide or assume what the maximum number of items on the list would be (how many digits) and fill all the empty digits from tens on with 0s
also, 0 was just a hint that he possesses the awareness of this being a generic thread formulation-wise
