you fool. i don't get starbucks for flavored coffee. it'd be cheaper to just buy almond milk and syrup and whipped topping and ice cream and crap. i go to starbucks for a prop. the cup is a prop. you see, now i'm not just loitering. i'm loitering with a recognizable branded cup in my hand. i'm a piece of americana now. somebody out of a rockefeller piece. now i blend busily and comfortingly into any street corner. now i'm a part of the crowd, or the lunch break, or whatever it is this scene is. smartphones can be props. cigarettes and vaporizers can be props. newspapers used to be common props. they all make loitering into loitering with a prop.
