not in the nice guy way, but rather showing genuine interest and maturity. could blame this on the type of girl i attract, but there's been too many examples where I could blow it off as pure coincidence.
my most successful relationships were where i ghosted their messages, showed a lack of interest and everytime i interacted with them was either a combination of playful teasing or distant small talk.
recent example: met this girl through a dating app and instantly hit it off, i initially didn't respond much while also mirroring their personality, and they were acting crazy over me (e.g nonstop texting, telling me about their day, a bunch of mindless verbal spam). as soon as i began to start showing serious intent (about a month in) they immediately began ghosting me and i got friendzoned extremely hard. this exact scenario has happened three times now.
whenever i've gone full simp mode (which is my default personality) i quickly get ghosted or friendzoned within 3-4 interactions, it's really crazy.

extremely demoralizing actually. was thinking about this the other day and it confused me because if someone doted on me like the way i do on others, i'd be over the moon. i've never had unconditiona love in anl opposite sex relationship in my life.
wish i stayed a khhv rotter on incel forums so i wouldn't have to deal with the fact that my true personality dries pussy up.

they need to feel like they WON YOU OVER
and they need to feel like it took effort on their part
there is a perfect tempo to the titration of your attention
it has to go too fast or too slow, and any irregularities in the tempo she'll pick up through your voice and body language and call it an ick

exactly my thoughts on this, but it's hard for me to regulate my emotions like that. it's extremely exhausting to place this mental game of push and pull because it's so alien to my normal behaviour. every single time i've done that in the past, it quickly became too much to handle and the mask slips.
i'm not someone who can have random hookups either, so i'll probably keep on having these short-lived situations where i feel empty inside once it goes wrong (which it always does)

and you wont feel like youre playing a game if she's ugly enough to be on your rhythm without any consciouss effort
