in samurai champloo Jin lets Kariya stab him so he can let down his defense and stab him back. In that way jin dies but takes kariya with him.
I'm the exact same way irl, ok i'm an absolute failure that suffers 24/7 but I use my free time from having no life to make sure everyone fails and suffers as well.
