I think my parents accidentally used mental abuse as parenting technique - height - 12-05-2022

I remember i saw my dad throw my sister on the floor it made mad she actually had to hide the bruises in school. So when i came home from pre-school he opened door and i told him i don´t like you. Idk why but started to run away so i followed him and was crying and telling him i didn´t mean it and please come. He outran me at some point and i had to go home alone.  Also with my mom i can´t give example but whenever we had fight even if she was wrong i had to apologize and if i didn´t she would ignore me until i did. this could go on for 2 or 3 days until i apologized she would ignore me and she always screams at me for smallest reasons. I know when i was a kid i knew by the sound of her steps if she would be angry and scream at me so i always get anxious when i hear someone walking upstairs. She also compared me to others to make me feel worse and i told her many times to stop doing it but she never did. Were they using bad methods or is it cope? It could be reason for my avoidant personality disorder diagnosis. I have 30 days until mental hospital so i´m trying to understand why i´m mentally retarded.

You can solve this if you physically abuse them until you break them mentally
