I'm really worried, guys. With the advent of realistic AI videos and pictures, we can no longer know what's real. Anyone could create a video of a politician saying or doing anything they like (or whatever)!

Statements like these only betray the absolute foolishness of the speakers. Humanity's first photograph was accompanied by humanity's first opportunity to doctor a photograph. If a person believes pictures or videos to be great evidence of anything, then that person has already been fooled countless times, and will continue to be fooled (regardless of AI).
