It is? I learned arabic letters when I was hikikomoring in 2006, and then when I went outside in 2010 I was surprised to read "Shawarma" on a store front.

It is not india level but you can't find a good photo of istanbul which tells you everything

My Russian-Armenian friend who left Russia to get to Europe to avoid mandatory conscription, while on his 3 day stay in Istanbul said to me "the food here is the best Ive ever had, but I only ate outside once because I didn't want to support the Turkish economy".
I tried to get him in Greece and promised I would host him, but after calling at the ministry of migration, I got blackpilled on how hardcore fascist the Greek migration policies are these days. They let nobody in and sink the boats that try to enter. So he had to move to Albania but got deported back to Russia, and then he moved someplace else.
